Vacancy: PCN Paramedic/Emergency Care Practitioner

The Barnstaple Alliance Primary Care Network (PCN) are looking for an autonomous and highly skilled Paramedic to support and complement an existing team of experienced and passionate clinicians, providing and monitoring patient centred care.

A Non-Medical Prescriber qualification is desirable, but not essential (if willing to undertake the course).

The role is based within the PCN Paramedic Team supporting the wider PCN and member practices with the PCN's acute home visiting service and on the day acute care in practices. This includes clinical triage, telephone consultations, home visits and face to face consultations in practices for patients accessing acute/on the day care.

Vacancy: Practice Nurse - 27 hours per week.

We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate qualified nurse to join the treatment room in our friendly, busy GP surgery.

You will work 27 hours per week with the following working pattern:-

Monday 8.30am - 1pm

Tuesday 8.30am - 6pm

Wednesday 9am - 7pm

Friday 8.30am - 1.30pm

You will be working as a member of our Nursing team working alongside other members of the multi-disciplinary team including GPs and nurse practitioners to provide excellent patient care.  

You will need to have understanding, acceptance and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality and the ability to work under pressure.

Pay £17.00 - £19.20 per hour depending on previous experience and qualifications.

Medical Receptionist/Administrator - 37 hours per week

We are seeking a confident, proactive, and highly organised Administrator to join our busy GP practice team.  This is a fast-paced and dynamic front-line role, where no two days are the same, and the ability to stay calm under pressure is essential.  You will provide a vital role in creating a welcoming, respectful and efficient environment as first point of contact for our patients.

You will need excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to engage with patients in a professional, compassionate and empathetic manner.  

This is a full time post working 37 hours per week with a working pattern of:-

Monday 8.15am - 5.15pm (with 1 hour lunch break)

Tuesday 8.15am - 5.15pm (with 1 hour lunch break)

Wednesday 8.15am - 12.15pm

Thursday 8.15am - 6.30pm (with 1 1/4 lunch break)

Friday 8.15am - 5.15pm  (with 1 hour lunch break)

Starting pay of £12.71 per hour, which will increase to £12.81 per hour on successful completion of probationary period.

Closing date Friday 29th May.  Interviews planned for 3rd and 4th June.
